Solid Steel Radio Show: DJ Moneyshot & Mr. Nice

It's Solid Steel resident DJ Moneyshot and his latest epic mix, You Are The Infinity. Looks like he's put down his trademarked party-starting record bag this week and plumped for a selection from the crate marked 'deep'. The crisp drum kicks of vintage Jungle get added to a hypnotic dose of self-help records, Rock breaks, classic Hip-Hop and downtempo beats. Wax Doctor, Moby Grape, Organized Konfusion, Pixies and Daedelus all get some treatment. It's a headphone odyssey!

Also this week our downunder connections keep representing, as Melbourne selector Mr Nice steps up with his second Solid Steel contribution. To showcase the kind of dance floor cheek he brews at his 'Pickled Beats' nights in the city he's invited you all along to a tea party. In the mix we have two lumps of The Nextmen and splashes of Bob Marley and Public Enemy, all lovingly stirred in with Parker and Black Grass. Definitely a refreshing blend, and good to the last drop.

Solid Steel Radio Show

This week it's party sets all round, starting with Parker and a mix to get your feet moving in the right direction. Ed Solo, Foreign Beggars and Sub Focus all share the dance floor with bona fide classics from Junk Yard Band, Aretha Franklin and Liquid Liquid. There's also tracks from the man himself and a cheeky remix here and there.
