“This week DK starts with a tribute to Malcom Mclaren and his track Buffalo Gals that arguably started the B-Boy revolution in the UK. We continue with the excellent Odessa by Caribou and some 80™s gems from Konk and Serious Intention. Wajeed is on the remix for Ty and then we take an African journey with Pastor Mbhobho, Mujava, Ariya Astrobeat Arkestra and a classic from Manu Dibango. Funky flavours both old and new before taking it right down with more Gil Scott Heron and a sweet soul selection before it turns nasty with Bassnectar, the Quemists and the Akira Kiteshi remix for Hexstatic.

DK starts hour 2 in a similar vein before handing over to Si Biddle for more of the same taking in music from DJ Zinc, The Yank, Barrington Levi and tracks from the man himself.”

Solid Steel Radio Show
